Does the student qualify as a resident of the state of Texas? See admissions site for residency requirements. If so, that student would be considered a Texas Resident. Students not classified as a Texas Resident are considered to have Out of State or International Residency. How you're classified is important because it determines whether or not you pay out of state tuition or in-state tuition.

Class Type and Credit Hours

How will you take your class hours?

In person classes are those taken face-to-face at one of our campus locations.

Online classes are those taken entirely over the internet and are labeled as an online class in the catalog. Online classes are not blended format and are different in the fact there is no face-to-face instruction.

Select both if you are taking a mix of face-to-face and online classes.
